Perlu diketahui tidak semua kata kerja dalam bahasa Inggris harus diikuti oleh verb-ing. Ada juga yang diikuti oleh to infinitive atau to + verb1 ataupun keduanya. Jadi cara paling cepat agar belajar bahasa Inggrisnya tidak terkesan ribet yaitu dengan menghafalkan daftar referensi kata kerja yang selalu diikuti verbIng di bawah. Selain kata kerja ini berarti kata kerjanya harus diikuti oleh to + verb1. Itu asumsi saya pribadi. :-)
Tenang saja, tidak banyak list kata kerja yang perlu dihafalkan. Apalagi kalau Anda sering mempraktikkan atau menggunakannya dalam kalimat, saya yakin cara yang seperti ini jauh lebih efektif daripada hanya sekedar hafal.

Sekali lagi asumsi saya pribadi, selain daftar kata kerja yang selalu diikuti verIng di atas berarti kata kerjanya diikuti oleh to infinitive/to verb1. Khusus untuk dua kata kerja yang diberi tanda asterik di atas boleh diikuti to + verb1 ataupun Verb-Ing. O iya, untuk masing-masing arti dari kata kerja di atas bisa dilihat sendiri di kamus atau di translator :)
